The blog post template is where you do all your news and storytelling. In addition to leveraging blocks that allow for many layout options within the text of the story, blog posts have several topper options that are tailored to different story types or meant to varying impact based on the content.

Blog posts also allow for a card list at the bottom that can be used like an optional set of call to action links before the Read Next article.

Article Toppers

The topper is set via the Article Topper options in the Document tab within each blog post.

Here are the all the different topper layouts available.

News Item

The news item topper is great for news & announcements content or press releases. It’s a bit more understated, with smaller headline text. There are options for:

Text Only Toppers

Text toppers are great for when you don’t have a great image to highlight at the top of the page. You can still set a featured image to come up when sharing the link, but so you don’t have to use a subpar image at the top of the page there are a few different color options to add visual interest of a different kind:

Image Toppers

Image toppers are available in three different sizes, depending on how your art is and the impact you want to have”

Card List CTA

At the bottom of the blog post template you have the option to add cards to the Card List Block. You can find those options underneath the story text editor.

With this card list you can add up to 6 cards, with optional images and/or teases associated with the links and titles.

This CTA option supplements the CTAs available within the text of the story via the Inline CTA block.
