The video tease is a great way to highlight text alongside a video on a top level page. The block displays the vide on the left and text on the right with a CTA button. Some light formatting options are available so you can include bullets and hyperlinks within the description text.

When adding YouTube videos to the Single Video Tease block, use the standard URL format, which is the traditional and more detailed URL, so that additional parameters, such as the ‘rel’ parameter, can be added. You can copy the standard URL from the address bar.

YouTube Rel Parameter:
- YouTube’s Policy for rel parameter behavior has changed as of 2018. Previously, rel=0 ensured that only related videos from the same channel would be shown, but now other factors affect its functionality (especially when using the WordPress oEmbed block). This includes:
- if you are logged into your YouTube or gmail account on that browser, the recommendations are influenced by your browsing history and subscriptions.
- being logged into WordPress, using incognito mode, or using different browsers (safari, edge, firefox, etc) may show different results when using the oEmbed block.
- Youtube account admins can restrict embedding. There might be times when you add a video and when you go to inspect the markup, you don’t see the ‘rel’ parameter. If this happens, confirm with the Youtube account admin that the video does not have any embedding restrictions.
With intro paragraph
The intro paragraph setting offsets the first paragraph in the description so it’s slightly larger than the rest of the text in the description. This is a great way to callout a secondary heading in this block.
